Your Task: Rewrite the hospital scene where Johnny's mother comes to visit. In your version, the nurse does not turn her away, but lets her in the room. Imagine Johnny's reaction. What would Johnny's mother say to him? What would Johnny say to her?

You are writing part of a narrative, not a script. Sentences, punctuation, and paragraphs should appear the way it would in a book. Use the book or passage above as an example. Pay special attention to the dialogue and how the author starts a new paragraph each time she changes speakers.

Johnny’s encounter with Satan… I mean his mom

                           A nurse appeared from the hall “Johnny your mom is here to see you” she spook softly. “I don’t wanna see her” said Johnny. Then all of a sudden Johnny’s mom burst through the door before anyone could say anything more. The nurse gave a nervous smile and walked out of the room leaving the mother to see her son. Johnny was so nervous he thought he might just pass out his mother was sure to be mad at him for the large medical bill that would come from this hospital visit. Instead of yelling and screaming she simply took a deep breath and glared at him. “Ugh Johnny what did you do to get yourself in this mess” he stared at her for a sec she…she wasn’t mad? “I…I” before he could say more he passed out.
