"The outsiders is a novel by S.E Hinton  in Tulsa. Oklahoma in 1965. Hinton was 15 when she started writing the novel and 18 when the book was published in 1967. The book follows two rival groups, the Greasers and the Socs, who divided by their dissimilar socioeconomic status. hold on to what they can amid the turbulent social changes of the 1960s.

  I think the book should not be banned because it could inspire teens to write their own book in the future. Some may argue that the book is too violent. But teens all around the world already play violent games and violent movies
