The outsiders are appropriate for some readers but not for all. The outsiders is about a boy named pony boy living around tough conditions.  The book is relatable to some kids that have been involved with gang’s violence and death. The book was written for teenagers by a teenager. The book isn't for everybody like young readers like 3^rd,4^th or even maybe 5^th graders because what they are exposed to like drinking, smoking, and even abuse. So the books isn't for everybody but should be in at least be in middle schools for young readers.
