I think “The Outsiders” shouldn’t be banned because it can teach kids about our outside world. All the problems in “The Outsiders” are (or at least can be) real life problems. Gangs, drugs, alcohol, all of that can be real problems. And if we teach kids about these problems maybe we can solve them. Or at least be aware of them. It can even tell you what not to do in life. And that is my opinion on “The Outsiders” being banned. But other people’s opinion on the book is different. People think the book is too violent or has too much language. Even though there was barely any language or violence. Because the book was written for a class assignment that the author needed to pass. And that is the story and my opinion on “The Outsiders” getting banned in schools.
