Your Task: Rewrite the hospital scene where Johnny's mother comes to visit. In your version, the nurse does not turn her away, but lets her in the room. Imagine Johnny's reaction. What would Johnny's mother say to him? What would Johnny say to her?

You are writing part of a narrative, not a script. Sentences, punctuation, and paragraphs should appear the way it would in a book. Use the book or passage above as an example. Pay special attention to the dialogue and how the author starts a new paragraph each time she changes speakers.

 A Nurse Appeared In The Doorway. “Johnny” The Nurse Said Quietly, “Your Mom Is Here To See You.”

Then Johnny Open His Eyes Wide With Surprise, Then They Darkened.

“I Don’t Want To See Her”

“She’s Your Mother.”

“I Said I Don’t Want To See Her” His Voice Was Rising. “She’s  Probably  Come To Tell Me About All The Trouble I’m Causing  Her And About How Glad Her And The Old Man Will Be When I’m Dead. Well Tell Her To Leave Me Alone. For Once” –His Voice Broke-"

She Let Her In Anyways.

 "What Are You Doing Here, I Told Her Not To Let You In And She Does Anyways.
Why Are You Here I Thought You Didn't Love Me I Thought You Hated Me."

" I Do."

"Then Why Are You Here"

"Because I Got Lost,I Was At The Gas Station Buying Some Stuff And All Of The Sudden The Place Got Dark And There Was Screaming All Around And Then I Got Hit In The Head By These 2 Guys Asking For My Money I Said No And Then They Hit Me In The Head With A Crowbar And I Blackout, And I Guess I Forgot Where I Live. Can You Tell Me Where I Live Again,"

"Down The Street" He Said In Confusion

"Thanks" She Left And Was Still Lost.
