Assignment

Your Task: Rewrite the hospital scene where Johnny's mother comes to visit. In your version, the nurse does not turn her away, but lets her in the room. Imagine Johnny's reaction. What would Johnny's mother say to him? What would Johnny say to her?

You are writing part of a narrative, not a script. Sentences, punctuation, and paragraphs should appear the way it would in a book. Use the book or passage above as an example. Pay special attention to the dialogue and how the author starts a new paragraph each time she changes speakers.

     The outsiders is a novel by S.E. Hinton set in Oklahoma in 1965. The outsiders should be banned because it has drugs, alcohol abuse, gang, violence, underage smoking and drinking. The outsiders is unchristian values, lake of adult role models.

     It also should be banned because the book is exposing kids to things they are not ready for.
also because all the characters are from broken homes. And because they all have diffusional homes. it also has strong language and drinking.

     looking life as an outsider  and feeling as being the though one being treated as an outsider is a madder of ones point of view. After reading the outsiders I've looked back to what I've gone though. and I can relate to some of it because of my past and its rough.
